What's on in April 2025 in Barcelona


April is a fantastic month to visit Barcelona. The weather is usually sunny and warm and there are many events and many things to do in April in Barcelona. In April 2025 you can enjoy Easter festivities. See our Barcelona Easter guide for highlights and maps.

For music lovers. concerts at the Barcelona Guitar Festival and classical concerts at Barcelona concert halls including the Liceu opera house, the Palau de la Musica - and at the Auditori concert hall.  A big festival day on 23rd April is Sant Jordi's day -  'el Día de Sant Jordi' - St. George's day, which is considered to be Barcelona's most romantic day of the year.

April Sports in Barcelona
As always there is world class soccer action when FC Barcelona battle for trophies. Check the FC Barcelona calendar for dates of all Barça games at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys Olympic stadium on Montjuic hill, where FC Barcelona play home games while their famous home ground Camp Nou stadium is still under renovation. For motor fans, Barcelona's Circuit Catalunya racetrack hosts the Barcelona European Le Mans Series. Tennis fans can enjoy of the world's top tennis stars in Barcelona in April for the Barcelona Open Tennis tournament for male professional players. The event was founded in 1953 as a combined men's and women's tournament until 1980. It is played at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain on clay courts and is also known as Torneo Barcelona.

Comic fans can visit the Barcelona Comic Fair from 4th to 6th April. At the end of April month the very festive annual Andalucian festival Feria de Abril de Catalunya usually takes place at Port Forum in Barcelona and continues into May.
