Is Vueling a reliable airline?

Updated September 2024.

The reliability of an airline can vary based on several factors such as on-time performance, flight cancellations, lost or delayed baggage, and customer satisfaction. In our opinion Vueling is a safe and reliable airline.

Vueling is a low-cost airline. Vueling Airlines is a low-cost Spanish airline, and it is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG). IAG is a multinational airline holding company with its headquarters in London, United Kingdom. IAG was formed by the merger of British Airways and Iberia in 2011, and it subsequently acquired Vueling in 2013.

In general, Vueling has a reputation for providing reliable and cost-effective air travel services. However, like any other airline, it can be impacted by factors such as weather conditions, air traffic control, and technical issues, which may result in flight disruptions.

Please note that low-cost airlines are known for their cost-saving measures, and one of the ways they achieve this is by optimizing the use of cabin space, including reducing the amount of legroom compared to some traditional carriers.

Vueling does not offer much legroom (seat pitch) but you can book more comfortable seating options at an additional cost. Please also check Vueling's cabin bag policy and pricing carefully.

In general it's advisable to check the airline's on-time performance record and read recent customer reviews before booking a flight.
