Regional trains are called Cercanías in Spanish and Rodalies in Catalan. These trains are the local trains that connect suburbs and towns near Barcelona, for example towns like Sitges, Sant Cugat, Castelldefels and the areas like Costa Brava and so on. This network of trains is operated by Renfe, the Spanish railways company and is called "La red de Cercanías de Barcelona" in Spanish and "Rodalies Barcelona" in Catalan.
